The above system includes (from left to right) a BGAN optimized computer, padded sleeves for the laptop and BGAN terminal, a cable bag, a Hughes 9201 BGAN terminal, an analog phone, a Hughes Terminal Adapter, Backpack, and a 26 watt foldable solar panel. Total combined weight is just under 18 lbs.

Any standard phone may connect to the Hughes Terminal Adapter. The BGAN terminal is issued an international phone number, so any connected phone can make or receive calls (incoming calls are free, however cost is burdened on the calling party). A compatible group 3 Fax machine may also connect to the Terminal Adapter.. |

The optional 26 watt foldable solar panel is useful in recharging the Hughes 9201 in no-power locations. The solar panel may also recharge other electronic devices using a standard 12V vehicle receptacle. |
