Explorer 527 BGAN Terminal from Thrane & Thrane
The Explorer 527 BGAN in-motion satellite system mounts to the roof of any vehicle truck, bus. It will deliver up to 464 Kbps of broadband Internet speed with global coverage even with a 1:1 CIR for streaming video. Operation is as easy as plugging the system into a 12 to 32 Volt power source, such as a car battery, and turning it on. The system will automatically lock on satellite for connectivity while traveling or parked anywhere.

Excellent In-Motion Coverage With the recent repositioning of the BGAN satellite (Jan 2009) that services North America, the look angle is much higher in the sky and thus line of sight blockages while traveling from trees and buildings is drastically reduced.
