Suspend Monthly Allotment For Slow or Unused Periods

For those slow periods that a vessel is not in a lot of use, you can cut your monthly fee with an "Allotment Suspension". Here are the suspension details:

A suspension is charge is half a month's payment, and can continue for 90 days maximum.

100 MB Plan - 50% off - 90 Day Max Suspension. Cost per MB during suspended time is billed $14.60
300 MB Plan - 50% off - 90 Day Max Suspension. Cost per MB during suspended time is billed $7.08
1.2 GB Plan - 60% off - 90 Day Max Suspension. Cost per MB during suspended time is billed $2.36
5 GB Plan - 60 off - 90 Day Max Suspension. Cost per MB during suspended time is billed $0.70
10 GB Plan - 75% off - 90 Day Max Suspension. Cost per MB during suspended time is billed $0.25
25 GB Plan - 75% off - 90 Day Max Suspension. Cost per MB during suspended time is billed $0.24
50 GB Plan - 75% off - 90 Day Max Suspension. Cost per MB during suspended time is billed $0.15

> All FleetBroadband services are available during the Allotment Suspension, but there are no allowances given, meaning that all usage is billed at the overage rate.

> Allotment Suspensions are monthly and start on the 1st day of any month, and end on the last day of the month.

> The Allotment Suspension may only be used a maximum of 3 months per year. Use may be one month at a time, all together as long as no more than 3 months are used per year.

> Allotment Suspensions are only available for for monthly plans and not annually paid plans.

> While the terminal is still under a minimum commitment period, any time spent within a Subscription Suspension period will not count towards the minimum commitment period. Meaning the commitment term is extended to the length of time the suspension is in place.

> Subscription Suspensions can only be processed via email request sales@groundcontrol.com

> During a Subscription Suspension period, it is not possible for a SIM to be upgraded, downgraded, suspended or deactivated.

Applying For An Allotment Suspension
Simply email sales@groundcontrol.com with your Fleetbroadband SIM Number, along with the suspension period.
