The Sailor Fleetbroadband handset is simply connected to any available Ethernet port that is wired on board. Phone calls can be made by the crew off the bridge from any location on the ship. While only one call can be made at any time, the handset does show when a call is active.

The Sailor handset is dust and splash proof and was designed for use in harsh environments. Excellent sound quality is achieved with state-of-the-art echo canceling and noise suppression software.
One or more handsets can connect into any available Ethernet port, and since it can operate with "power over Ethernet" there is no need to have a power source near the phone install location.
Each FB250 and FB500 system includes one IP phone & cradle.

Each phone can hold up to 100 names and phone numbers
in the built-in contact list.
