Before you leave the site, it is a good idea to make sure the following tasks have been completed:
Check the Hardware
- All screws and bolts tightened
- Safe and clean cable runs, with liberal use of zip-ties to keep them secure
- Cables labelled transmit and receive
- Cable bundle sealed at point of entry into the building
- Mount correctly grounded
Site Appearance
- Site clean, no trash or debris
- All tools / equipment accounted for and put away
Customer Walk-Through
- Show the customer the installation job
- Give the customer their galileo information sheet and show them what it all means
- Show the network administrator how to connect to the system and how to configure the proxy settings
- Customer must be satisfied with the installation.
