Software Installation
THE GATEWAY IDU
The Gateway, also known as the IDU or "In Door Unit" is the device that connects the satellite dish to the company network (or to your installation laptop).
The gateway connects to your laptop with a special crossover Ethernet cable.

With the dish connected to the gateway, turn on the power with the rocker switch.
NOTE - Make sure that the when you turn on the Gateway, you run the CPE Installation Wizard within 15 MINUTES.
The green light will appear on the front for power.
The "STATUS" light next to it will blink, which means the system is not ready or enabeled for transmission.
When the status light glows a steady green, it means the satellite transmitter has been enabled and the system is online. You have to commission the system before the blinking light will go away.
On the back of the Gateway are 4 lights.
