Both electronics bays have NEMA4 extreme environment enclosure controls for humidity, water intrusion, heat, cooling, and air-born particulate filtration. The pCom’s™ on-board 10,000 watt ultra quiet power generation system provides for site power, core communications equipment and powerful scene lighting system. The clean power generation with a 10 continuous day 100 gallon internal diesel tank, and an auto-acquire satellite with 5Mb x 2Mb connections speeds, when combined with a standard 30.5’ internally cabled tower creates the ultimate response trailer. With 40 rack units of environmentally controlled rack space, pCom™ operators have a numerous options for their critical communications equipment. Whether you run proprietary internal networks or you simple require reliable access to high-speed internet, phones, radio, video, or broadcast, the pCom™ 300 fulfills your needs. |
Operation is as easy as starting the generator, turning power on the UPS that powers up all electronics, and waiting 1 minute for boot up. Finally, pressing the "Deploy" button for the satellite dish, and within 3.5 minutes, the AVL dish will lock on satellite creating a local area network. You also have the option of automatically creating a half mile wireless access point for high-speed Internet as well as providing up to 10 or more simultaneous phone connections via VOIP over the satellite system.
