Making Calls Over IsatHub iSavi

How To Make and Receive Calls Over the IsatHub Network

All calls made over the IsatHub Voice App on a smartphone connected to the IsatHub network are considered “International” calls. If you’ve never made one before, it can be a bit confusing. This tutorial will help you make your first call, as well as how to call your smartphone when it’s connected to the IsatHub network.

Every IsatHub account is assigned a 9 digit international telephone number along with a 3 digit Country Code. The Country code for all IsatHub phones is 870. IsatHub phone numbers can be called from any phone on the planet if the calling party is allowed to make international calls (if not, we recommend using a local number service like this). If you do not know your IsatHub phone number, please contact your IsatHub service provider or Ground Control.

If this doesn’t work, you may always ask for assistance from an operator to help connect. You only need to know the 870 country code and the 9 digit IsatHub phone number for the operator to connect you.

Note – While the IsatHub account will not be charged for any incoming calls placed to it, the calling party WILL paying International calling rates. Charges vary widely between phone providers from $1 to $10 USD per minute, and some phone providers simply block international calling. The calling party can ask their phone provider for their international plan rate to “Inmarsat” which has its own Country Code of 870. Phone providers often have small international plans that can be added to avoid paying any exorbitant per-minute fees. Also consider adding a local number for the IsatHub phone.
