The display on top of the Explorer 300 makes pointing quite easy.
Here are the steps to create a broadband Internet connection:
1. Turn power on by pressing the power button.
2. Beeping tone will automatically begin as well as a signal strength bar and dBHz reading.
3. Point the terminal toward any BGAN satellite (beeping sound will increase in speed, dBHz will also show strength).
4. Get the highest signal strength reading possible (using the dBHz scale), and then press OK (Register) button.
5. Run the BGAN Launchpad software from a connected laptop to connect to the Internet.
