The controller is attached to the 700 antenna with one of two included cables. One short 0.4 Meter cable is for keeping the controller with the antenna, and the other allows the controller to be placed up to 10 Meters away, such as inside of a building.

| The display screen on the Explorer Transceiver shows the signal strength for pointing on power-up. It will emit an audible beeping that increases as the system is pointed toward the satellite. |
