The Iridium Certus 9704 module utilizes Iridium Messaging Transport, a message-based service that allows you to transmit data packets of up to 100 kB. 34% smaller than the Iridium 9603N, the 9704 also doubles the speed in which data is sent, and the much larger message size lets you send more data, plus image and audio files.
Utilizing Iridium’s global L-band network, it delivers low latency, truly worldwide coverage, making it ideal for mission-critical applications in industries like transportation, agriculture, energy, and environmental monitoring.
The developer kit includes pre-provisioned hardware, an intuitive software platform, and Arduino compatibility, offering developers a flexible and efficient environment for rapid prototyping and deployment.
