For locations out of cellular network range, InSpatial’s satellite based solution utilizes the Iridium 9602N modem, and the cost-effective Iridium SBD service, to ensure customers have full access to well conditions and production information across the globe.

InSpatial’s products have been adopted by some of the world’s largest oil and gas producers, OEMs, service providers and National Oil Companies (NOCs) to accurately monitor multi-site well and pump operations globally.

Comtel provides pipeline monitoring solutions to the oil and gas industry by manufacturing high quality, reliable and robust pipeline inspection gauges (pig), above ground markers and remote tracking equipment.

With the majority of pipelines sited in remote locations and out of cellular range, Comtel incorporated the RockBLOCK 9603 device into their unmanned and automated Above Ground Marker (AGM) Sentinel product to facilitate data transmission via satellite.

The AGM Sentinel is designed to be left unattended for several weeks and the low power consumption of the RockBLOCK 9603 ensures the device can keep automatically detecting the passage of overhead pigs for extended periods.
