Short Burst Data (SBD) Tracking Tariffs

We have created these plans for end users of our tracking devices: RockAIR, RockSTAR, RockDASH and RockFLEET. They are based on the number of positions (i.e. locations) that you want to send/receive in a 24 hour period.

The tariffs leverage the globally available Iridium Short Burst Data (SBD) airtime service and include access to Cloudloop Tracking. This is our online platform which allows you to track your assets’ location, speed and heading.

Standard Terms

  • Pricing is in US Dollars excluding tax
  • Monthly fee is billed monthly in arrears unless otherwise specified
  • Overage charges are billed monthly in arrears at the rate specified in the service plan
  • There are no early termination fees for these tracking tariffs
  • Plan pricing is subject to change with 30 days’ written notice
  • Positions are calculated as our standard position message of 19 bytes; if position messages are customized, the tariffs will be altered to suit
  • Provision on these plans includes access to Cloudloop Tracking platform.

    Introducing Cloudloop Tracking

    Cloudloop Tracking is included with our SBD Tracking Tariffs, and delivers a simple, easy to use tracking solution for general tracking requirements. If you use a third party tracking platform, we can often integrate our devices with this, and already have integrations with TracPlus, v2track, IndigoSat, Predictwind and Skytrac.

    Real-Time and Historical Visibility

    With Cloudloop Tracking you can see where your assets have been, and where they are now, on a map-based interface suitable for use on smartphones. You can group assets for ease of identification, too.

    Speed and Altitude* Monitoring

    Designed for use with Rock tracking devices, Cloudloop Tracking captures their speed, trajectory, and altitude (*RockAIR aviation tracker only). Easy to use "out of the box" - ideal for small businesses / individuals.

    Simple Event Tracking

    Cloudloop Tracking reports simple events such as signal loss, take-off, and landing. It also notifies users instantly should the Alert feature on the tracker be activated, an essential safety feature for your remote assets.
