Select between zero to 80% resampling on the BGAN Max utility and ALL data transferred to and from the computer is compressed on-the-fly. Resampling is not just file compression, but technology that actively reduces resolution of such files like .jpg images, making the file size 80% smaller. Obviously resampling technology affects only certain file types, however normal usage results in a truly a significant reduction of data transferred in both directions without sacrificing a lot of quality. Less data transferred means a dollar can last 5 times longer. BGAN Max is not an over the counter speed program... you will be able to stay within your service plan much longer.
These same powerful servers also use spoofing technology to remove the latency and cross-talk issues common with satellite communication. A web page that would normally take 15 to 30 seconds to load, will take 5 seconds with BGAN MAX. This proprietary technology makes the BGAN experience feel much more like a normal terrestrial Internet connection.
BGAN Max is not the TCP Accelerator from Inmarsat which is available for all BGAN systems on any network, which is not necessary when you run BGAN Max. It is also not an expensive hardware solution offered by other providers. BGAN Max is a free utility that performs as well as costly solutions, and is included at no additional cost for Ground Control subscribers.

BGAN MAX is compatible with Windows 2000, XP, Vista, and Windows 7 and will operate globally with any of the three BGAN Inmarsat satellites with no system reconfiguration. The BGAN Max utility will start automatically each time you boot your laptop (unless otherwise configured).
