The KNS SuperTrack Z12 120cm VSAT antenna provides Ku-Band connectivity in rough seas with more than a 90° per second track rate on any axis. The largest KNS Ku-Band VSAT dish works on the global service plans and can track at 90 degrees per second, even in heavy seas. It boasts a RX gain of 41dBi and TX gain of 42.4dBi. BUC Transmitters come in 4, 6 and 8 Watt sizes.

The advantage to a VSAT dish is far faster speeds and far lower costs per Megabyte transferred as measured against L-Band services like FleetBroadband and Iridium Openport. The disadvantages are VSAT equipment is larger, has a higher equipment cost, and and service areas for VSAT is limited to the coverage regions (or footprints) of each Ku-Band satellite.
