Asset Management

To accommodate the wide range of assets that can be tracked, we offer a wide range of asset trackers. The Rock trackers leverage the Iridium satellite constellation, giving them global coverage and very low latency.

The Globalstar devices are less feature-rich, but rugged tough and very affordable - ideal for mass deployments.

The Orbcomm tracker uses the Viasat satellite network, and has proven very easy to integrate with telemetry sensors.

Secure Tracking and Positioning

In conflict zones and contested environments, GPS isn’t guaranteed. RockSTAR APNT delivers a new level of resilience with location data that doesn’t rely on GPS or GNSS systems. Instead, it uses Iridium’s PNT: a one-way signal, broadcast at 1,000 times the strength of GPS, by Iridium’s satellite constellation.

Our LEO, low-latency satellite modems enable UAV operators to send simple commands (go to the nearest rally point; go home; terminate flight); Pilot BVLOS; transmit condensed video and/or photos from a tail camera.

Devices like the RockSTAR are engineered for ultra-low power draw and can operate for weeks or months on a single charge, depending on reporting frequency. This makes them ideal for long-duration deployments or covert tracking applications.

How is data secured over your satellite networks?

Satellite data transmissions can be configured and encrypted to government and military-grade protocols, with secure data pathways and optional private APNs. Devices are hardened for field deployment, and we provide secure backend systems with access control and audit logs.

All messages sent are encrypted when sent with the RockSTAR Burst device. Pre-defined message user groups ensure messages are sent to authorized receivers. If required, add in 2-factor authentication.

Can I monitor multiple devices in one interface?

Yes, our cloud-based platform, Cloudloop, allow you to monitor, control, and manage thousands of deployed devices from a single dashboard. You’ll have access to real-time asset locations, message logs, alerts, and configuration tools, accessible from secure, authenticated sessions.

Our tracking solutions are compact, lightweight, and operate silently with low RF signatures, making them well-suited for covert missions or special operations. Units can be configured for infrequent burst transmissions to further reduce detectability while still maintaining critical connectivity.

Can your devices operate in GPS‑denied or contested environments?

RockSTAR APNT is the solution when GPS or GNSS is unavailable. RockSTAR APNT is a rugged, handheld satellite device designed for environments where GPS signals are unavailable, degraded, or actively jammed. Utilizing Iridium’s positioning, navigation, and timing (PNT) service, it ensures secure location tracking and secure two-way messaging, making it ideal for military personnel operating in contested or high-risk areas.

What redundancy and fail‑over mechanisms are in place for contested or degraded SATCOM links?

Devices like the RockAIR feature hybrid connectivity, automatically switching between cellular and satellite based on network availability in the event of damaged or tampered cellular connections. This reduces airtime costs too, while maintaining connectivity assurance for mission-critical data.
