Orbcomm ST-6100
The ORBCOMM ST 6100 is a rugged, programmable satellite IoT terminal for tracking, monitoring and controlling assets beyond terrestrial coverage. It combines two way satellite messaging, multi-constellation GNSS, configurable inputs and outputs, and onboard processing within an IP67 enclosure suitable for fixed and mobile installations.
Supporting both ORBCOMM OGx and Viast IoT Nano (IsatData Pro) services, the ST 6100 can be used across transportation, maritime, heavy equipment and industrial SCADA applications where dependable remote visibility and control are required.
Key Capabilities
Programmable two way satellite connectivity for tracking, monitoring and controlling remote assets across land and maritime applications.
Two way connectivity over ORBCOMM OGx or IsatData Pro
Up to 1 MB messages in each direction using OGx
Four configurable analog or digital input/output channels
Integrated GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou and Galileo positioning
Rugged IP67 design for fixed and mobile installations
Programmable Monitoring and Control
The ST 6100 can collect data from connected equipment, process it locally and send reports, alarms or commands over satellite. Its Lua scripting environment includes core services for geofencing, data logging, position reporting, accelerometer events and serial communications, while RS-232, RS-485 and four configurable I/O channels support integration with sensors, controllers and industrial equipment.
An integrated three-axis accelerometer and multi-constellation GNSS receiver also support asset tracking, movement detection and operational monitoring. Applications and firmware can be updated over the air, allowing deployed terminals to be reconfigured without a site visit.
