I-CELL 1140 2G/LTE
iCell Elster 1140 provides remotely managed 4G, LTE-M, NB-IoT and legacy 2G connectivity for Elster A1140 and A1120 electricity meters.
Designed to fit beneath the A1140 series terminal cover, it connects directly to the meter for power and data. Flexible SIM options, remote provisioning, antenna diversity and over-the-air updates help reduce site visits across long-term metering deployments.

Designed for Elster Meter Integration
iCell Elster 1140 is designed specifically for the Elster A1140 meter range and also supports the A1120 dedicated meter interface. It fits beneath the A1140 series terminal cover and clips directly to the meter supports, avoiding the need for a separate external modem enclosure.
The device connects through the proprietary RJ12 meter interface, which provides both power and communications. This simplifies installation and reduces the amount of additional cabling and equipment required at the meter.
Resilient, Remotely Managed Connectivity
Support for current and legacy cellular technologies gives operators greater flexibility as network availability changes. External SIM and embedded SIM options, together with eUICC and iUICC capabilities, support remotely provisioned and resilient connectivity.
Device status and supported configuration functions can be managed remotely through a browser-based platform, while firmware-over-the-air support reduces the need to visit deployed meters for routine updates.
